WHAT IS CLEC?

Competition Law is a complex business law which requires an understanding of legal technicalities as well as basic economics.  In ASEAN, this law is relatively new. Whether you are a business trying to comply with the new law or a regulator or government organisation trying to enforce the new law, it is likely that you will need some guidance.

CLEC (Competition Law and Economic Consulting) can help. Bringing together more than 40 years of competition law experience in Asia, Australia and the UK, CLEC can provide a complete competition law service.  The team comprises Shila Dorai Raj, an ex-regulator and the founding CEO of the MyCC, Dr CW Cheah, a competition economist, and Rachel Burgess, a competition lawyer.

Recently, CLEC has been assisting the governments of Brunei, Lao and Myanmar in the development of their competition law and policy.
